Integrity at every stage: our ethical standards

In an era where sustainability and social responsibility are high on every corporate agenda, the word integrity is frequently tossed around. But true integrity cannot be bought, nor can it be hidden behind complex webs of third-party suppliers.

For many businesses, the real challenge in hitting their Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) targets lies in the blind spots of their supply chain. When you rely on intermediaries, you lose sight of how garments are made, who’s making them and what happens to the waste. We’re changing that narrative by removing the middleman entirely.

Direct ownership means total transparency

Exceptional quality

The foundation of our ethical commitment is our wholly owned manufacturing epicentre in Sri Lanka. By bypassing traditional brokers and agents, we give our customers absolute certainty that their ESG expectations are being met with surgical precision. We don’t have to guess at the working conditions or trust a third-party certificate; we manage the facility ourselves.

This direct control allows us to build a manufacturing hub with a soul. It’s why we’re able to pay wages that sit comfortably above the legal minimum and offer crucial community support like free transportation and childcare for our workers. When a supply chain is transparent, it naturally becomes more humane. The exceptional quality woven into our workwear, PPE and corporate uniforms is a direct reflection of a workforce that’s genuinely valued and empowered.

Engineering out the waste

Zero waste

Our ownership also drives our commitment to zero-waste manufacturing. While our UK operations focus heavily on a systematic zero to landfill policy and transforming retired garments into automotive insulation, our Sri Lankan hub targets waste at the point of creation. We’re continually optimising our cutting and production processes to ensure that raw materials – including the sustainable bamboo fibres that have saved 120 million litres of water so far – are used with maximum efficiency.

By integrating these zero-waste principles into our production line, we ensure that sustainability isn’t just an afterthought tacked onto the end of a garment’s lifecycle. It’s built right into the very first cut. Combined with our plastic-to-fabric initiatives that have already diverted 2 million bottles from our oceans, we’re proving that high-performance clothing can be produced cleanly and responsibly.

Meeting the data-backed future

Absolute integrity

As we prepare to unveil our first Greenly sustainability report, this direct control over our manufacturing arm gives us a massive advantage. We have access to hard, verifiable carbon data from Scope 1 right through to Scope 3. We aren’t relying on industry averages or vague estimations; we can track the exact environmental cost of production.

Real leadership requires the courage to show the data and the infrastructure to back it up. By combining our zero-waste manufacturing with cutting-edge UK distribution – like our £15m automated warehouse that slashes emissions per pick by 75% – we’ve built a truly modern supply chain. From the first stitch in Sri Lanka to the final delivery at your doorstep, we’re providing workwear, PPE and corporate uniforms with absolute integrity at every single stage.
