Delivering on our promises: An update on our path to a 50% reduction in carbon emissions

What people wear to work should do more than just provide protection – it should protect the world we live in too. For us, sustainability isn’t a peripheral project or a buzzword reserved for annual reports. It is a commitment woven into the very fabric of our business, influencing every button, stitch and technical specification we produce.

We’ve reduced carbon emissions by 40% from our 2023 baseline, keeping us on track to achieve a 50% reduction by 2035. This isn’t a vague ambition; it is a meticulous, data-driven roadmap that proves keeping people safe and looking good shouldn’t cost the Earth. By partnering with Greenly to track our carbon footprint with surgical precision, we’re ensuring that our journey to 2050 is transparent, accountable and relentless.

Leading with data and innovation

Isn’t limited to operations

True leadership in our industry requires honesty. Through our 2025 progress reporting, we have identified that the lion’s share of environmental impact often sits within the supply chain. That is why we are looking at every stage of the lifecycle of the workwear, PPE and corporate uniforms we produce. From the energy used in our automated warehouses – where 10 robots operate with the same power consumption as a domestic vacuum cleaner – to the transition toward 100% renewable electricity in our facilities, we’re tackling emissions at the source.

Our innovation isn’t just limited to our operations. We’re reinventing what workwear, PPE and corporate uniforms are made of. By integrating recycled polyesters derived from PET bottles and sourcing sustainable cotton, we are reducing the demand for virgin resources and helping to divert millions of plastic items from the waste stream.

A circular approach to workwear

Push the boundaries

The traditional take-make-waste model has no place in the future of our industry. We’re championing a circular economy through a robust ‘zero to landfill’ policy. When garments eventually reach the end of their functional life, their journey with us doesn’t end. By actively repurposing end-of-life textiles into new products like garment wadding, we ensure that the materials we put into the world stay in a productive loop.

Innovation and sustainability are two sides of the same coin. Whether it’s reducing our emissions per pick by 75% through smart technology or phasing out single-use plastics in our packaging through a pioneering partnership with Reverte™, we are proving that the most advanced solutions are also the greenest.

As we look forward, our intention is clear: we will continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible, ensuring that every time our clients’ teams dress for work, they’re dressing for a brighter, more sustainable future.
