For premium high-street giants, where every element of a store is curated to deepen customer connections and physically represent a brand’s narrative, a generic off-the-shelf look simply won’t cut it. Yet, one of the most prominent components of the in-store layout is frequently overlooked: the clothing worn by the floor staff. Custom-designed bespoke corporate uniforms, PPE and workwear breathe life into a retail brand, seamlessly blending contemporary fashion trends with everyday operational durability to create an unforgettable customer experience.
Fusing contemporary fashion with site resilience
Anti-pilling
Modern retail workers are highly visible brand ambassadors, and their clothing should reflect that status. When a retailer hands its team members standard, mass-produced clothing, it creates an immediate disconnect from the carefully crafted aesthetic of the storefront. Co-creating a collection from the initial design phase allows brands to capture current high-street silhouettes, fits and fabrics while engineering them to withstand the rigorous demands of a busy retail environment.
In-store workers require exceptional operational durability from their clothing. Whether they’re lifting stock, moving fixtures and serving customers over long shifts, front line teams demand clothing capable of enduring constant friction and frequent washing. That’s why we always specify premium components, anti-pilling technical yarns and reinforced stitching in all the garments we design & produce.
By designing in collaboration with wearers and managing production through our wholly owned manufacturing epicentre in Sri Lanka, we eliminate third-party intermediaries. This provides total quality control and ensures that every brand’s unique colour schemes are executed flawlessly. It also allows us to build garments along the principles of the BS 30417 inclusive standard – custom-engineering designated female cuts, modesty variations and extended size ranges so that every employee feels comfortable and professional.
Data-backed transparency for peace of mind
Plug-and-play
Consumers want to buy from brands that actively live their environmental values, so dressing teams in premium, fashion-forward clothing that also boasts a documented, eco-friendly origin creates an incredible point of pride. By creating every collection from scratch we can weave sustainable solutions right into the fabric matrix – for example by using resource-saving bamboo lines that have saved 120 million litres of water, or recycled polyester that have repurposed over 2 million bottles from plastic to fabric.
This level of control allows us to provide retailers with completely transparent, plug-and-play carbon data that drops perfectly into corporate reports and aligns with our Greenly climate strategy assessment projections.
Furthermore, a high-volume retail rollout requires a flawless supply chain. Our £15m automated warehouse facility slashes carbon emissions per pick by 75% while helping to maintain an outstanding 99% On Time In Full delivery rate, keeping seasonal rollouts completely on track while minimising environmental impact.
Erasing the waste footprint entirely
Entirely shredded
A truly circular economy looks beyond the shop floor to map out what happens when a collection is eventually retired. Throwing branded clothing into the general waste stream completely undermines a retailer’s environmental commitments, so we build a strict zero to landfill strategy directly into every client partnership.
Through our practical 5-step uniform recycling framework, old clothing is securely collected, transported and entirely shredded. This industrial process securely obliterates corporate logos and provides your procurement team with an official certificate of destruction for complete peace of mind. The processed raw fibres are then channelled directly back into commercial manufacturing, finding new life as automotive insulation and acoustic soundproofing.
By taking a closed-loop approach to workwear, PPE and corporate uniforms, brands can elevate their image today while cleanly erasing their waste footprint for tomorrow.
